Dental Anxiety

Dr. Culy and Dr. Patel are both Dental Phobia certified, giving them understanding into the real fear that many patients have with the dentist. Our gentle dental philosophy across all our practice helps us to work through patient phobias and anxieties. Our intention is to maintain the health of your teeth for as long as possible and we work with our clients at their comfort level to achieve this.

Temporomandibular Joint Disorder ( TMJ)

Dr. Graham Culy has undertaken post graduate training in the prevention and treatment of TMJ. It is a particular area of interest for him and has led to an association with The TMJ Centre Melbourne. East Melbourne Dental Group have a room available for patients to receive chiropractic and therapeutic treatment from The TMJ Centre to assist with their TMJ treatment. Dr. Culy has found that the combined treatment works to arrest discomfort and pain whilst realigning the joints associated with the temporomandibular joint.

CEREC Porcelain restorations

Dr Culy has undertaken research into amalgam substitutes at Melbourne University Dental School and believes that the only truly bio-compatible and long lasting filling material is porcelain (as used in the CEREC system). In some cases, CEREC is able to provide a single visit solution for patients requiring crowns.

Invisalign and Inman Aligner Orthodontics

Dr. Ron Patel is an experienced, licensed Invisalign practitioner as well as having experience with Inman Aligners. Dr. Patel will be able to recommend an option to best suit your orthodontic requirements.
